The KilgourMD system combines two transformative scalp care serums, intended to work alongside one another for best results. The Prevention is like sunscreen for the scalp, preventing environmentally-driven ageing and the appearance of hair thinning and loss of vitality that sets in over time. The Treatment is like a facelift for the scalp, maximising the appearance of remaining hair once damage has already been done.

Our serums are easy, quick, and safe. At the end of your morning or nightly skincare regimen, apply 3-4 pumps of each serum directly to your scalp and massage in. There is no need to apply these products throughout the hair itself, because they target the scalp directly. You can also apply each serum immediately following the prior without needing to wait, as we formulated them to work together.

The Prevention is designed for use by everyone, whether you're 25 or 65, because we know that oxidative stress causes scalp ageing from the moment we are born. The Treatment, however, is designed to use only when the damage from the environment has already occurred. We therefore recommend that you introduce The Treatment to your regimen, following The Prevention, as soon as you notice the initial signs of the appearance of hair thinning.

Each of our serums is 30ml, which should be sufficient for up to three months of daily usage depending on the amount applied.

No, neither of our products contain either of these pharmaceutical ingredients. Minoxidil has a number of associated side effects, including scalp irritation. Finasteride, while an effective anti-androgen, requires a physician's prescription and monitoring.

Apply the products once, ideally in the morning or at night before bed as the last step in your skincare regimen.

We designed the products to be applied at night before bed, to allow them time to be fully absorbed by the scalp. However, you can equally apply them in the morning if you prefer. Both serums are light in colour and spread translucently, so they should not stain your pillows.

Our products are designed specifically for use on the scalp. We optimized the serum with the unique composition of the scalp in mind.

Absolutely! We intentionally created the KilgourMD system to be suitable for all hair types, genders, and ethnicities. The truth is that the same ageing environmental forces affect us all.

Both of our serums are lightweight, water-based, and easily absorbed. They should not cause any issues with your hair style, even for the finest of hair that is easily weighed down. The texture is not greasy or sticky.

Yes, our serums are color safe. For blonde hair or hair that is predominantly grey, we recommend applying the serum to wet rather than dry hair to prevent any temporary discolouration from the color of the serum.
