This guide will show you exactly how to apply the KilgourMD system for maximum results.

The routine itself is simple. But how you apply it makes a significant difference in how quickly you see results. Most women don't realize that small application mistakes can delay their results by weeks.

1. Apply in the Evening

Use both the Prevention and Treatment serums at night, ideally right before bed.

Why evening application works better:

Your scalp repairs itself during sleep. Blood flow to your scalp increases between 10pm-4am, and cell regeneration peaks during these hours. When you apply the serums at night, the active ingredients work with your body's natural repair cycle instead of against it.

Plus, nighttime application gives the serums 6-8 hours of uninterrupted absorption time - no styling products, no sweat, no washing. This extended contact time allows the liposomal carriers to fully penetrate and deliver actives deep into your follicle layer.

Think of it like skincare: you wouldn't apply your most expensive face serum right before washing your face. Same principle here.

2. Apply to Clean Hair

The serums work on both damp and dry hair because of our liposomal delivery system.

If you just showered: Towel-dry your hair first. Damp hair is fine - just not soaking wet.

If it's a non-wash day: Completely dry hair works perfectly.

Important timing rule: Don't apply to hair that hasn't been washed in 3+ days. Maximum 2 days between washes.

Why this matters:

After 2-3 days without washing, your scalp accumulates sebum, dead skin cells, styling product residue, and environmental pollutants. This buildup creates a barrier that blocks the serums from penetrating your scalp tissue.

The liposomal delivery system is designed to fuse with your scalp cells and carry actives deep into the dermis. But when there's a thick layer of buildup, the liposomes can't make contact with your actual scalp tissue. They end up sitting on top of the sebum layer instead of penetrating to your follicles.

It's like trying to water a plant through a plastic sheet. The water never reaches the soil.

Clean scalp = direct contact = maximum absorption = faster results.

3. Part Your Hair in Sections

Don't just apply serum on top of your hair. Part your hair in 2-4 sections and apply the serum directly to your scalp tissue.

Why parting is essential:

Your follicles are located in your scalp tissue, not in your hair strands. When you apply serum to the top of your hair without parting, 90% of the product sits on your hair and never reaches your scalp.

The active ingredients need to make direct contact with your scalp tissue to penetrate down to the follicle bulbs where hair growth is regulated. This is basic biology - your follicles are embedded in the dermis layer of your scalp, about 3-4mm below the surface.

Create 2-4 parts across your scalp (like you would if you were checking for dandruff). Focus on your part line, areas where you see thinning, your hairline and temples, and any spots where your scalp shows through.

This ensures the serums reach your actual scalp tissue instead of just coating your hair.

4. Apply Prevention Serum First

What it does:

The Prevention Serum creates a protective environment for your scalp. It reduces inflammation by 48%, improves blood flow by 121%, and blocks DHT at the follicle level. Think of it as your scalp's daily defense against the aging and hormonal factors that cause hair loss.

How much to apply:

Use 1-2 dropperfuls total. Apply directly to your scalp tissue (not your hair) across the 2-4 sections you created.

The massage:

After applying, massage the serum into your scalp for at least 60 seconds using gentle circular motions with your fingertips.

Why massage matters:

The massage does two things. First, it stimulates blood flow to your follicles, bringing more oxygen and nutrients to the area. Second, it helps the liposomal carriers spread evenly across your entire scalp surface. Even though you're only applying to 2-4 sections, the massage distributes the actives throughout your scalp tissue.

The liposomes are designed to migrate through the skin once they make contact. The massage accelerates this spreading effect, ensuring coverage even in areas where you didn't directly apply the serum.

5. Apply Treatment Serum Second

What it does:

The Treatment Serum contains the highest concentration of active ingredients designed to reactivate dormant follicles and reverse scalp aging. Redensyl targets follicle stem cells and increases hair growth by 214%. Caffeine blocks DHT and extends your growth phase by 37%. This is where the actual regrowth happens.

How much to apply:

Use 1-2 dropperfuls total. Apply directly to your scalp tissue (same sections as before).

The massage:

Massage the serum into your scalp for at least 60 seconds using gentle circular motions with your fingertips.

Why both serums work together:

The Prevention Serum prepares the environment. The Treatment Serum activates the follicles. Using just one is like trying to grow a garden by either watering the soil OR planting seeds - you need both.

The Prevention Serum reduces inflammation and improves blood flow so your scalp tissue can actually respond to the growth signals. The Treatment Serum then delivers those growth signals at therapeutic concentrations.

Together, they create an environment where dormant follicles wake up and start producing thick, healthy hair again.

Why 1-2 Dropperfuls Is Enough

If you're wondering how such a small amount can cover your entire scalp and deliver results...

We formulated KilgourMD with liposomal delivery. These are tiny lipid vesicles (about 100-200 nanometers) that encapsulate the active ingredients and carry them deep into your scalp tissue.

Standard topicals sit on the surface of your skin. Only about 1-3% penetrates into the deeper layers. The rest evaporates or gets absorbed by your hair strands.

Liposomal delivery changes this completely. The liposomes are made of the same phospholipids as your cell membranes, so they fuse directly with your scalp cells. Think of them as tiny delivery vehicles that can slip through your skin barrier and spread throughout the dermal layer where your follicles live.

Once they penetrate, they migrate laterally through your scalp tissue - far beyond just where you applied them. This is why you only need 1-2 dropperfuls per serum. The actives spread and absorb at a level standard serums can't reach.

Our absorption studies show the liposomal system delivers 580% more active ingredients to follicle tissue compared to standard topical formulations.

That's the Stanford advantage. Maximum results from minimal product.
